1974; driving charters part time
In '74, five years after the Comet died, I had a part-time job driving charter buses for a local company. The company owners had known my dad and knew of our bus. Ergo, I had an easy time getting hired.
The bus here is a GMC 4104 PDH, a little bigger than the Comet, but with an identical drive train.
